Fit a kitchen around how you use it
A kitchen can look tidy on a plan and still be awkward every morning. We approach kitchen fitting in Portsmouth by considering how you cook, store food, use appliances, and move through the room. Once the old kitchen is removed, we prepare the walls and floor before setting out units, worktops and splashbacks. Appliance positions, sockets, lighting and work surfaces are agreed around the finished layout. That groundwork helps doors open properly, services reach the right places, and useful storage stays within easy reach.

Keep cabinets, services and finishes aligned
Cabinet installation must be coordinated with electrical and Gas Safe work, especially where appliance positions or pipe routes are changing. We can also handle adjoining plastering, herringbone LVT flooring, bespoke cupboards and final decoration as part of the same project. Before work begins, you should plan for room clearance, deliveries and a temporary loss of cooking facilities. We arrange the stages so fresh floors and finishes aren't installed while heavier preparation is still taking place.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need to clear the whole kitchen before work?
The working area needs to be cleared so we can remove the existing fittings and prepare the room safely. We will discuss access, appliance arrangements, and any items that must remain before the installation starts.
Can you change sockets and gas appliance positions?
Our fully qualified electricians and Gas Safe personnel can handle relevant alterations as part of the project. We establish positions early so the services match the approved cabinet and appliance layout.
Can new flooring be included with the kitchen?
Yes. We can coordinate herringbone LVT and other associated preparation with the kitchen programme. The exact order depends on the flooring specification, cabinet layout, and condition of the subfloor.
